Sketched Leaf Branches – Happy and Joyful

Hello friends, I am here to share a card I made using the beautiful Sketched Leaf Branches Foil and Cut dies set from the SSS Happy and Joyful release.

For this card I used new to me Distress Specialty Stamping cardstock. I loved how water reacted after I inked up the panel. The list of distress sprays I used are in the supply list at the end of this post. Using my spellbinders hot foil system I cut out the sketched leaf die.

I cut out each of the leaves and added some shaping using the sizzix shaping kit ,

I hot foiled the sketched leaf again another another panel of distress specialty stamping cardstock. I inked up the paned in layers using antique linen, rusty hinge and speckled egg.

Stamped ramdom images from Stampers Anonymous Etcetera and Leger Script stamp sets. Using distress inks I colored the sketched leaves and popped up all the cut out leaves on top of the painted ones. Realized after I was done that I didn’t really need to paint the image on the panel..lol

I added guilded foundry wax around the edges and some splatters. I absolutley love the look of the foundry wax splatters.

I popped up the paned using fun foam and added a birthday sentiment.

Hope you like my step by step. You can find links to the supplies I’ve used below: click on the picture and it will take you directly to the product.
