Hello friends, hope you are having an awesome week. Today I am sharing a card I made using the gorgeous SSS Shamrock background. I always love making fun backbgrounds and am trying to get better at showing the colors that I used. Hoping it helps as I get quite a few DM’s on what and how I did the background. I do create in layers, drying in between each one. I made 2 panels using the same colors.

Using archival black ink I stamped the Shamrock background onto both panels.

I did some fun stitching on one of the panels and added some white splatters. For the second panel I cut out one of the shamrocks and popped it up on the stitched panel using foam tape.

Using the stencil I picked a few fun images and added them to the panel. Pulled out a sentiment that fit perfect with the card and sanded down the ends and with the distress tool I roughed up the edges.

I found that I needed something else on the sentiment and found a heart adornment that had a shamrock on it. Using my white distress crayon I rubbed it on top of the heart.

To finish up the card I popped it up on 110lb Neenah cardstock using fun foam. Added a few more splatters just because.
