Rainbow Distress Glaze Mosaic

Hello friends, have you seen the gorgous new distress glaze colors…talk about rainbow magic. I created a card using one of my favourite stencils and all the new glaze colors couldn’t help myself. The colors are so beautiful.

I did a quick background using distress stain sprays, oxides on distress watercolor paper. The colors I used are vintage photo and antique linen spray, iced spruce and speckled egg oxide. I stamped on some images from some of my favourite Stampers anonymous sets using Black archival in, Etcetera CMS302, The Professor CMS395 and Fragments CMS368.

This is the part I had to work quickly on. I had all the distress glaze jars open at the ready. Using the beautiful Mosaic stencil along with texture paste I quickly layered down in sections and sprinkled on the glaze. After I was done I lightly tapped underneath the cardstock to distribute the powder. After I was done the entire panel I went over in sections with walnut stain crayon.

I die cut the Sizzix flower field out of black alcohol cardstock…I love the matte and soft look of this gorgous paper. Who said it it is only for alcohol ink..lol. Took me a while to figure out how I wanted to layer everything. I definitley wanted to keep with the large panel.

Popped up the panel with fun foam and added a sentiment. Hope you will give this a try. Love Distress glaze especially the new colors….rainbow goodness.
