Hello freinds, super exciting day. Time for a brand new release from Tim Holtz and Sizzix. Today I am sharing a card I made using the super fabulous Lovestruck die and Simple Plaid.
Using a mix of reds and pink distress sprays and oxides I cut out all the hearts . List of the colors are at the bottom of the post.

After cutting out the hearts I layered them up following the numbrs on each of the dies. For the top heart I added on some crackle collage medium and rubbed in some walnut stain. Stamped the ledger stamp over sections of the hearts using black archival ink. I did die cut both size hearts but ended up using only the larger one.

For the background I used a piece of Kraft stock which I sanded down in sections and inked up with peacock feathers and with ground espresso I inked up this beautiful mini flourish stencil.

I die cut the simple plaid die using the silver cardstock. Sanded it down in random spots and ripped out the centre. I than went over it using some alchohol inks foundry, patina and rust. Layered it in place over the background panel.

The final touches, I but out the arrow using some scraps I had and glued it in place on the heart. Popped it up using foam tape and layered in the opening of the plaid panel. For the white accents on the heart I went over them using glossy accents. Found a very fitting metallic sentiment.
