Coffee Makes Everything Better

HI Crafty friends, It is time for a new release from Your Next Stamp. For Day 1 of preview week I am sharing a card I made with the brand new adorable Coffee Characters set. Each preview day, we will be giving away the stamp sets being showcased. Each individual set will go to a winner based on randomly selected comments left on the YNS blog, Designer’s blogs or YNS IG. Leave all your comments by June 10th at midnight EDT . The winners will be announced on June 11th.

I stamped this adorable image with SSS Intense Black ink onto Neenah 110lb card stock. Colored it using my copics. I have listed the colors I used on the image. For the cup I used BG49, BG45, BG23 and BG11. I used my white gelly roll pen to add some highlights. I cut the image out using the coordinating die.

I needed 2 more pieces of cardstock. First one I cut out using the MFT Wonky rectangle die and die cut a circle with the desired size. I went with 3 1/4 inch and for added dimension I also cut out the same size circle and using the circle die one size up I cut out a frame. With the 2nd panel I used Distress ink oxide and the Splatter stencil, really love the look the stencil creates.

To create the shaker portion I used clear acetate and doubled up foam tape around the circle. I filled up the area with brown and gold sequins and beads.

I embossed the sentiment on black cardstock using Brutus Monroe Alabaster Embossing powder. For the finishing touches my favorite YNS gumdrops. I had so much fun creating this shaker card.
